This set of Matryoshka dolls is completely handmade and unique. Each single doll is made of natural wood (linden tree). They are all mostly painted with tempera and richly decorated with golden leaf. The dolls are usually covered with 4-6 layers of lacquer.
Based on the story of a fairy tale of great Russian writer L. Tolstoy's “Three bears”.
Once upon a time, Masha and her girlfriends went into the forest to pick up some mushrooms and berries and got lost. She was wandering for a while in the forest before she finally saw a hut. Masha was gladdened and decided to spend a night in there. But she didn’t know that the inhabitants of the hut were three bears.
