It is strange, but cherry amber owes its color to forest fires. Because of strong warming down into the soil, pieces of amber changed their color. The amber of cherry color was highly respected in Japan and China. To wear adornments made from the stone, which absorbed the fire reflections, earth warmth and resembling the precious rubies by coloring, was prestigious and worthy only for ruling Dynasties.
